Escape From Tarkov The Cult – Part 1 Quest Details
The Cult – Part 1 Quest Dialogue
I’m having this strange feeling lately. You know, you’re not the only person I work with, other people provide me with some other services. One particularly sharp informant has been out of touch for a while. The last message from him was about some strange glowing in the area of the old village and voices he heard there. Apparently, he then decided to have a look at what is going on there and went missing. The village was abandoned long ago and mainly consists of wooden huts. Try to find the informant or at least investigate what you can.
Objectives
- Locate the missing informant on Shoreline
Rewards
- +6,200 XP
- +0.02 reputation with Peacekeeper
- ~800 Dollars

Rewards Dialogue
Kurwa! Pardon the swearing, but the situation is just too bizarre. Although, it may even turn out to benefit us.
Guide
The Cult – Part 1 is a quest that happens on Shoreline. You need to head there and find the missing informant’s body, which is located in the old village. The village is recognized for its swampland, so take care of your steps when going there and stay on the wooden planks as much as possible. Not that it’s scary or anything, but you’ll move a lot faster and would not get slowed by the wetland.
Early in the quest, you’ll find out that the Cultists have eliminated the informant inside the Church, and dragged his body to a nearby house. Where exactly is that? Worry not; we have you covered. You can find the exact positioning on the map below, including the close-up images for better illustration.
The quest leads to The Cult – Part 2.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too.Currently stuck in WoW with high M+ keys, Tarkov, a bit of Gray Zone Warfare, Dota 2, and CS2.P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
